Optional Services and Features:

Tone Dialing:

Allows you to make calls using a pushbutton rather than a rotary dial telephone; therefore, making it possible for you to interact with automated response calls.

Premise Wiring and Customer Premise Equipment:

Provides for a diagnosis of any inside wire problem and includes any repairs to inside wiring. CPE provides for a diagnosis of telephone instrument problem and includes any repairs.

Call Waiting/Cancel Call Waiting*:

Lets you put one call on hold while you answer a second one, then alternate between the two. If a third caller tries to reach you they’ll get a busy signal. Cancel Call Waiting lets you cancel call waiting for the duration of one call by dialing a special code before or during a call

Call Forwarding*:

Lets you automatically forward calls to any number you choose.

Call Forwarding, No Answer/Busy Line*:

Lets you automatically forward calls to any number you choose if your telephone is busy or does not answer after a certain number of rings.

Three Way Calling*:

Allows three people in three different places to talk on the same line at the same time.

Speed Calling 8 or 30 Code*:

Allows you to assign up to either 8 or 30 of your most frequently called numbers to a one or two-digit number.

Call Block*:

Automatically rejects calls from you specify for up to six (6) telephone numbers. Also, you may block a number on the spot, even if you do not know who the caller is by dialing an activation code after you receive an unwanted call.

Call Return*:

Automatically redials the last incoming local call by dialing *69, whether the incoming call was answered or not. if the redialed number is busy, you will be notified by a special ring when the number is available and the call will be placed once you pick up the receiver.

Priority Call/Distinctive Ringing*:

Allows you to specify up to six (6) telephone numbers to be given a distinctive ring or call waiting tone.

Repeat Dialing*:

Automatically stores and redials the last number dialed. When a busy number is reached, this feature will ring you back once the number is available and when you pick up the receiver the call will be placed.

Select Call Forwarding*:

Allows you to specify up to six (6) telephone numbers to be forwarded to an alternate number, which may be local or long distance.

Select Call Acceptance*:

Allows you to specify up to six (6) telephone numbers from which calls will be accepted. Calls from any other numbers will hear a message that you do not wish to receive calls at this time.

Calling Number Delivery:

Shows you the incoming calling telephone number before you answer the telephone.

Anonymous Call Rejection:

Rejects incoming calls from callers who block their telephone numbers and show as anonymous callers.

Calling Number Delivery (CND) with Anonymous Call Rejection (ACR):

Shows you the incoming calling telephone number before you answer the telephone, and it will also allow you to reject incoming calls from callers who block their telephone numbers and show as anonymous callers on your caller id box.

Nonpublished Service:

This service results in no listing in the company’s directories or information records.

Regular Extra Listing:

These may be the names of members of the customer’s family or of others residing in the household as part of the family.

Toll Denial:

Blocks toll calls made by dialing 1+ or 1-, 0+ and 0- before the number.

Toll Denial with Pin Override:

Blocks toll calls except where a Personal Identification Number (PIN) is entered prior to placing the call.

900 Blocking:

This service will prevent any calls placed to 1-900 or 1-976 numbers from being completed.

Per-Line Blocking:

Prevents your telephone number from being shown if the called party has Caller ID. You may selectively unblock calls by dialing *82 before dialing.

Extended Call Forwarding:

This service provides toll-free dialing to customers located in exchanges equipped with call forwarding service. The customer in the distant exchange agrees to pay all long distance charges incurred with this service.

Eligible Telecommunications Carriers (ETCs) are required by FCC rules to advertise the availability of services supported by federal universal service support mechanisms and the associated charges for these services. [1]

Eligible voice telephony services must provide:

  1. Voice grade access to the public switched network or its functional equivalent;
  2. Minutes of use for local service provided at no additional charge to end users;
  3. Access to the emergency services provided by local government or other public safety organizations, such as 911 and enhanced 911, to the extent the local government in an eligible carrier’s service area has implemented 911 or enhanced 911 systems;
  4. Toll limitation services to qualifying low-income consumers.
